Once you’ve had the initial meeting with our team, we’ll start gathering information. This includes obtaining your custom architectural plans, discussing location, square footage needs, home style, and price range. We’ll work together to create the perfect design for your new home.
3. Choosing an Architect
Once we’ve identified your ideas for your new home, we’ll help guide you to an appropriate architect. We will work hand-in-hand with you and the architect to make sure your dream home is built to your exact specifications. 4. Finalize Plans
Killian Custom Homes is here to help turn your dream home into a reality. We will start the process by finalizing your plans, so that we can begin the bidding/proposal process to estimate the cost of your home. We are here to make sure that your home is within your budget, so you can make the home of your dreams.
5. Preparing Proposal
At Killian Custom Homes, we believe that you should be at the center of the process. That’s why our owner, Tim Killian, will personally assist you in selecting the necessary allowances and fine tuning your plans prior to bidding/quoting your plan. We believe that this will ensure that you get the perfect home within your budget.
6. Obtain Financing
If you need financing for your dream home, Killian Custom Homes will help you identify the best options for you. We understand that sometimes financing can be difficult, so we are here to help you find the best possible solution for your needs.
7. Signing of Contract
Once all of the plans are finished and all of the allowances have been set, it’s time to sign the contract. We will give you construction time frames and when it’s time, you can sign the contract and move on to the next step.
8. Begin Construction
When construction begins, we will be sure to inspect and consult with you continuously. Once construction is complete, we will prepare a punch list and walk through your home one last time.
Then, it’s time for the final inspection and you can move into your new home.
